In order to qualify, your firm should be have an active pacer account.  Only one free Courtport.com membership per Pacer account is allowed. We do NOT need your Pacer account.

What is the catch? 

Courtport.com is in the process of evaluating business models to determine the feasibility of providing federal dockets and filings less expensively than current prices. In order to accurately do this, we need to obtain historical data on Pacer usage from as many users as possible. 

For users who provide this historical usage data( from a simple pacer report) we will be providing with a free one year Courtport.com membership. 

Still interested? Here are the steps. 

1) Sign up for Courtport.com for a 30 day membership at http://courtport.com/MyAccount/RegisterAccountnew.aspx 

2) Go here: https://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/psco/cgi-bin/account.pl  enter your login, password, and click the Verify Login button. 

3) Click "Review Detailed Transaction History" 

4) Change Transactions Between to be 10/1/2008 and 10/31/2009. Please note that the data provided should be for at least one year. 

5) For Report Options, select "Write Transactions to a Text File" 

6) Click the Run Report button, which will display the information in your browser. 

7) Using your browser, click File, Save As, and save the file. 

8) Send an email to info@courtport.com with the text file from the above step attached. 

You are done. Once we receive your email, we will extend the free trial to one year. 

Your information will be kept confidential, and will not be personally identified or shared with anyone. We are only interested in collecting data to analyze how much Pacer users are regularly spending on dockets and filings.
